Amit Janco will lead the Butterfly Bridge Creative Arts Workshops. Studying, teaching and being involved in the arts for most of her life, Amit’s experiences with the creative process include: photography, design, dance, music, singing, fine art, creative writing, cooking and travel. She facilitated art classes for children at summer camp and a school in Nepal; and in the wake of 9/11, Amit conceived and organized a community-wide initiative, The September 11th Peace Quilt Project/Courtepointe de Paix.

Amit’s photographs have been published and exhibited abroad, and are part of a museum collection in Israel. Her writing has appeared on several websites, including her own healing and wellness blog.

About the Painless Arts Workshops: A serious accident in early 2009 prompted Amit to reconsider the creative process in the context of healing, and dealing with chronic pain. As part of this journey, she recently facilitated an art session for a chronic pain support group and launched Butterfly Bridge Arts. Please join Amit on this painless creative adventure!
